Hello once again lovely blog. You're looking extremely green as usual! :3
Righto! Then let's get to it. Today's blog post will be about the topic of life. (: Yes, I'll be sharing my personal experiences and in general, where I would like to go from here on as a female living in the 21st Century advancing world where everything you do will be judged based on what you look like, dress like, listen to, eat... Blah blah blah. Ah society. What the fuck are you doing to yourself? And gee. What a 'happy' world we have evolved into.
"Oh that dress is absolutely disgusting! It SO does NOT compliment your eyes at all." |
In this post, I may also be touching a little bit (maybe a bit more) on current affairs... And stuff in general. Note that this post is also going to be long and wordy and filled with Mean Girls and Disney characters because Disney is just fucking awesome and Mean Girls is a totally realistic movie.(HAHA I ENDED UP NOT USING MUCH) (Ohmai, mmn. I'm sorry for my use of vulgarities but I just want to emphasise my point. :D)
Look! Look! Look at all the hipsters everywhere!
To be honest, I don't hate hipsters. And when I say hipsters, I'm talking about those people who carry around gramphones as opposed to iPods. Those who carry typewriters, not laptops to type an essay. Those that have a sense of aesthetics that is literally off the charts. Like level 9999 or something. Like pink elephants in a room! By aspiring to be different from the rest of the world... Mmnhmm. Not an easy task. (': I myself don't enjoy or favour mainstream things in general. When something becomes a little too common it feels as if it has lost all its meaning. ):
It's like walking on the street and realising that another person is wearing the exact same clothes as you. Then it's like you're not special or going to stand out wearing that shirt anymore. I hate that feeling. It annoys me to no end... I do realise/hearsay that guys actually make friends from wearing the same type of clothes though! But that's not exactly my point. My point is, I don't get why people like, enjoy trying to be 'normal'? I mean, why blend in when you can stand out as something wonderful? Unless you already are being yourself then I have no qualms but seriously? Who are we kidding here? Just stop trying to be somebody you're not just to be popular or something geez.
Society is judgemental, doesn't mean you have to be judgemental too. Be more accepting of yourself and you'll realise that hey, being yourself is actually a beautiful thing and people are so totally wrong about you. Stand up for yourself sometimes and eventually once you accept yourself, learn to accept others as they are too. The world will be a much better place with more people being accepting of others. Those heavy, thick masks that some people wear should be abolished and never resurrected ever again. Ah sigh. I'm being a judgemental bitch now aren't I?
(There are however exceptions that go against the rules of humanism and morals, say, being a psycho murderer and killing people for the fuck of it, a sick perverted rapist, a bloody pedophile... Yeah, the list goes on. But you see my point right? And yes, I do realise that I myself am being judgemental here but, do you realise what murderers, rapists and pedophiles are doing to our society?! MURDER HELLO?!)
Alright let's move on, I'd like to touch on the topic of my further education again. (': Because my future is important to me. So... Starting from the mid of April I'll be attending a Polytechnic! I'm actually quite pleased with this because I think I'll like the environment since it's very University-life-like with the lectures and all. I'll be taking a course in the Business faculty just so you know. I think this course is very relevant to the future of jobs in particular as well as in businesses. With technology being so widespread and able to send out information and all, it is important that workers are skilled in the subject. So yeah! And since the course combines both subjects of Business and IT which I am keen on learning about and have an aplitude to, I suppose I'll be very happy doing what I do in the near future. Time flies quickly. (:
I believe the path I've chosen will suit me well. But I am worried about getting a job in my field of expertise. Hmmm. We'll see anyways. ):

I want to have this look when I'm studying. It reminds me of Taylor Swift! o: Very pretty huh! |
I want to start studying again because I will then have something to look forward to.But I think once school gets busy, I'll regret saying what I just said and oh-so-desperately wish for holidays to come quickly.
Speaking of technology in recent times and studies leading to jobs, I'd like to make a special mention to the B-E-A-U-TIFUL offices of Google and Twitter. Recently I watched a video on how more and more people (including celebs like Will.I.Am) are actually studying computer coding. :D People who are able to code, like Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates, all came up with genius ideas for the internet and programs. Brilliance at it's best. Notice how they are also drop-outs from school. Y'know, I think that if we want to be successful in life, we need to acquire a strong sense of devotion to a particular aspiration we have. Say you wanna be an actor, so as long as you have the right connections, talent and have a strong passion for it, I believe one will be able to achieve that dream. (Go look up Nicholas Cage's yearbook quote or something. He said he wanted to steal the Declaration of Independence. (x He did. Technically.)
SO YEAH. The key to success is to always keep your eyes on the goal and work extremely hard for it.
A short little note.
(I'd just like to mention the current state of affairs in the world. D: I think in recent times, Mother Nature has been rather ruthless with several countries. It may perhaps be due to global warming. Or. Humans. Or. Karma. Maybe.See all the protests and shit all over places now. We humans are... Well. Cruel. ): To animals, plants, Gaia itself included. How can we stop this? How? ):)

Last but not least, I want to talk about relationships. In about 4 more days, I'll be having my first year anniversary with my boyfriend. (: Wow. One year. One year. Time truly, truly flies. (': I wonder how long we will last actually? A lifetime? o: To be honest, I'm quite afraid of commitment. :/ I can't bring myself to like, ENTIRELY ENTIRELY devote myself to something unless I really am into it. ): Why you ask? Because I'm scared. I'm scared of losing things. That feeling of loss I get from suddenly losing something is so painful and just. I can't take it.
Another thing I'm scared of is, going out one day and seeing my boyfriend with another girl. I don't care who the fuck she is (unless it's his mother or sister) but I'd be pissed and totally be unable to trust him anymore if that ever happens. (I actually had a dream about this once. When I woke up I felt really angry and was about to cry.) But! I got over that feeling recently. I realise that in life, we'll definitely have friends of the opposite sex and all. So yeah, I'm not going to be a petty girlfriend. (':
ALRIGHT. I'M DONE WITH MY POST. :D YAY. SO LONG FOR ME.
